For my husband’s first Father’s Day I racked my ideas for things that wouldn’t take much space (Chicago space is premium), was something he could treasure for years, could add to each year, and didn’t break the bank. I used to do scrapbooking and had an extra memory book, so I thought- perfect! Now, what do I put in it? It should be something special that reflected his first year of fatherhood and a poem seemed the perfect thing. I outlined about 15 memories and put them in chronological order from oldest and ending with the most recent. It was so fun walking down memory lane.
